'Moonlit Dog' is 'collagraph print. The plate used to create a collagraph print is a card base with material which may include paper, fabric, leaves, string, etc applied with glue to create texture. Other marks are created by incising into the card.
The ephemeral nature of the finished plate means that only a handful of finished prints can be taken ensuring a truly "limited edition". In this case only six prints exist in the edition and a couple of "artist proofs" taken at the outset to check and get things right.
There is a weekend "Printmaking" art course which Nicola is running at her studio on Saturday and Sunday 25th & 26th April 2020. For full details of this and other weekend art courses please see the Art Courses page
