Limited Edition Hand Made Prints
'Winter Berries' is 'collagraph print. The plate used to create a collagraph print is a card base with material which may include paper, fabric, leaves, string, etc applied with glue to create texture. Other marks are created by incising into the card.
The ephemeral nature of the finished plate means that only a handful of finished prints can be taken ensuring a truly "limited edition". In this case only eight prints exist in the edition and an "artist proof" taken at the outset to check and get things right.
Nicola runs several weekend "Printmaking" and other weekend art courses at her rural Norfolk studio. For full details of this and other weekend art courses please see the Art Courses page
