Book of Cats featured in The Artist magzine January 2017

 

"The painting evolved from T.S. Eliot's poem about the enigmatic cat who is known by the name "Hidden Paw" The ambiguity of the subject is a perfect fit with Nicola's mysterious, atmospheric style."  The Artist, January 2017

Songbirds was the winner of the Dry Red Press Award at the 300th Royal Society of British Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London in March 2017. The painting will now be published as a greeting card by Dry Red Press.

Self Portrait with Leaves is a self portrait created in 2015 acquired by the Ruth Borchard Collection in the same year. It is now included in the Ruth Borchard Next Generation Collection which can viewed here.

A House for Me is a painting which won The Alfred Daniels' Personal favourites Award for a narrative painting at the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London in 2014. It also appears on the cover of a collection of poems "A House of Small Absences" by Anne-Marrie Fyfe published by Serren www.serenbooks.com

 

Ice Fishing

Ice Fishing was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2013 

Minuet purchased for the Yoshikawa Medical Clinic for Children in Nagoya, Japan from the Fosse Gallery, Stow on the Wold, 2011

Girl with Hoop was selected for the New English Art Club Annual Exhibition in 2011

Asleep with Sheep

Asleep with Sheep was selected for the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) Annual Exhibtion in 2006

Lighthouse People

Lighthouse People is a painting inspired by the Norfolk Coast and some imagination. It featured on the cover of the UK's Artists & Illustrators magazine in September 2005 

Given Away

Given Away is a painting that featured on the cover of the UK's Galleries Magazine in March 2005 and was exhibited with the RONA Gallery, Mayfair, London in the same year.  

Dreams

Dreams is a painting which was discussed with Nicola Slattery on Anglia TV's "Artifacts" programme in 2004 

Sofa People

Sofa People was selected for the New English Art Club Annual Exhibition in 2002

The Shepherd painted in 2017 and sold prior to exhibition to Richard Starzak of Aardman Productions and "Shaun the Sheep", etc, fame.
