Nicola Slattery is an artist and tutor with over twenty years experience of running successful art courses. She has taught painting and printmaking to over a thousand complete beginners and many others including other professional artists.
For some a weekend art course is all about getting started and building confidence. For others it's a chance to explore new directions and techniques. Whatever your individual goals are you will be taught as an individual and the focus will be on what you need and want to achieve rather than simply being herded along with the group. For this reason Nicola limits the maximum number of people on each course to just ten. This means you get lots of individual support and really get the most out of your weekend art course.
On each weekend art course the materials and equipment are provided along with a buffet lunch each day -all included in the art course fee! You have no hidden extras to worry about and no worry about buying materials etc. This means you can spend the whole time focused upon enjoying and getting the most from your art course.
The weekend art courses are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with more experience who perhaps wish to extend their abilities or seek new directions. The emphasis on each weekend is to help you develop your art individually rather than follow any set programme or regime.
